nice job! I was looking for a way to show history in a tab like google chrome. Good thing I finally found this one which is in active developing. hope you can keep on with it. a small suggestion, what do you think if the "day" view shows up by default rather than the "week" view casue "day" view shows complete titles while "week" view is too narrow to show them. Guess "day" view would be more frequently used?

Better History will remember the last page as the default view in the next update, hope you will like it!
The next update will most likely be released this weekend :)

The search doesn't work, it just stops working for me if I type a single letter there. Firefox 139.0.4, snap for Ubuntu.

It doesn't search properly. When I try to search something, I get `Uncaught TypeError: visit.title is null`.

I checked in Reddit an alternative and got Improved History.

Considering the search doesn't work and that's the only useful feature in the default firefox history, I fail to see how this is a "Better History". The GUI looks great, but search is required. So close, yet so far.

As mentioned on the extensions github page it is unfortunately no longer being maintained.

A new fork of this extension called Better History NG has all the most important currently broken features such as the history search fixed!

Used to love this extension. Sad to see that the search is broken - it's useless to me now. FF's own History window is so wonky and this was my only way to make things good.

Update: Thank you Nelson for pointing out "Better History NG"! Now I can stay on Firefox.

Search is broken, but, even when it worked, it would just show a list of results, like regular history. Meanwhile, the calendar view shows complete history, with no way to filter it.

Search is broken, and they apparently wont fix it. If anybody has any recommendation regarding history add-on to switch I would appreciate it.

Search does not work and even if it did, there is not hotkey to open. So you have to click the icon from the toolbar every time to open history. That will take some time to get used to.
