Save 3D-printing models to your own Thingport library in one click, straight from MakerWorld, Printables and Thingiverse.

Thingport Grab is the companion add-on for Thingport, a free, open-source library for your 3D-printing models that you host yourself. It needs a Thingport server to import into: the add-on doesn't store models on its own.

HOW IT WORKS
Open a model on MakerWorld, Printables or Thingiverse and a Thingport button appears in the corner of the page. Click it, optionally pick one of your Thingport collections, and click Import. The model's files, photos, description, tags and author are copied into your library, and "Open in Thingport" takes you straight to it.

FEATURES
- One-click import from MakerWorld, Printables and Thingiverse model pages.
- Import whole collections, and your Thingiverse likes, in one go.
- File each model into a Thingport collection as you import it.
- MakerWorld imports use your existing MakerWorld login in Firefox, so there's no session cookie to copy and paste.
- Import another MakerWorld print profile of a model you already have, and it's added to that same model.
- The button hides itself on models you've already imported.
- Your last few imports stay one click away in the toolbar popup.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Thingport Grab talks only to your own Thingport server and to the site you're on. There are no analytics, no tracking and no ads, and nothing is sent to the developer or any third party. GETTING STARTED
1. Install Thingport on your own server: https://tautvydasderzinskas.github.io/Thingport/docs/install/
2. Click the Thingport Grab icon in the toolbar and enter your Thingport address, email and password.
3. Visit a model on MakerWorld, Printables or Thingiverse and click the Thingport button.
