Speaker Keepalive Tone автор zombot
Sends a brief, inaudible 10 Hz tone to prevent studio monitors with auto-standby (KRK, Yamaha HS, etc.) from powering off during quiet passages. Click the toolbar icon on any page to send the signal.

Many studio monitors include an auto-standby feature that powers them off after a period of silence or very low signal. This is frustrating when working with quiet audio, watching videos with silent sections, or mixing at low volumes.
Speaker Keepalive Tone fixes this with one click. It sends a 1-second, 10 Hz sine wave through your audio output. At 10 Hz the tone is below the human hearing threshold (~20 Hz), so you won't hear anything — but the signal is enough to keep your monitors from sleeping.
How to use:
1. Click the waveform icon in the toolbar — a quick 1-second pulse keeps your monitors awake.
2. Right-click the icon and select "Enable 10-minute timer" for hands-free mode: a 10-second tone plays automatically every 10 minutes.
3. The icon turns green when the timer is active. Right-click again to disable it.
Privacy & permissions:
- Only requires the "menus" permission (used for the right-click timer toggle on the toolbar icon).
- No data is collected, stored, or transmitted — ever.
- No third-party libraries or analytics.
- Fully open source (MIT license).
Works with: KRK Rokit series, Yamaha HS series, JBL LSR series, Adam Audio, and any other monitors with signal-based auto-standby.
