Pin Things Privacy Policy

Pin Things stores the pins, preferences, and onboarding status you create in your browser's local extension storage. This data is not encrypted. Pin Things has no account system, cloud synchronization, analytics, telemetry, advertising, or external network service, and it does not sell or share user data.
The extension requests access to ordinary HTTP and HTTPS pages so it can show its input-side button, remember the field you selected, insert a pin, and provide page context-menu capture. It never reads, captures, or stores the existing value of a password field. It only inserts content that you explicitly saved as a pin.
Export creates a JSON backup locally on your device. Import reads only the file you choose and validates it before updating local extension storage. Clearing browser extension data or uninstalling Pin Things can permanently remove locally stored pins unless you exported a backup.
Do not store passwords, API keys, authentication tokens, or other secrets in Pin Things. Pin Things is not a password manager.
Private/incognito operation is disabled. Pin Things makes no external data transmissions.
