Privacy Policy for OPAL Redesign

OPAL Redesign processes data primarily locally in your browser. The extension does not operate its own backend server, does not send telemetry, and does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics.

Locally Stored Data

The extension may store the following data locally in your browser:

• Extension settings
• Dashboard and theme settings
• Local search index data for OPAL courses, pages, folders, and files
• Calendar data, if imported or processed from OPAL
• Canteen settings and favorites

Storage uses local browser storage such as chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB.

External Connections

The extension can load and read OPAL pages that the user opens in the browser. For some indexing functions, OPAL pages may also be loaded in the background.

OPAL Redesign does not transmit OPAL course data to its own server.

Deletion

Locally stored data can be deleted from the extension options page, by clearing browser data, or by uninstalling the extension.
