IgFy adds download controls to Instagram and Threads pages so users can save supported images and videos more easily. It includes popup settings for download icons, ZIP downloads, video controls, filename formatting, datetime formatting, carousel indexing, and Threads support.

IgFy does not collect, sell, transfer, or externally store user data. Extension storage is used locally for settings and temporary media metadata needed for download features.

Permissions explanation:

Storage is used to save extension settings and temporary media metadata. Instagram and Threads host access is required so the extension can detect supported media on those pages and add download controls. Web request permissions in Firefox are used to read page response metadata needed for media detection.
