APF - Anonymous Position Filter автор Dev

Whenever a website (Google Search, Maps, shopping sites, or social media) requests your location:
👉 APF intercepts the request and reports a safe, custom location of your choice (such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, London, or New York) instead of your true physical address.

Websites interact with you as if you are browsing from your chosen city, keeping your actual home or office location hidden.

1. 📍 Mask Your True Physical Location:
Prevents websites and tracking scripts from discovering where you actually live or work via the browser's Geolocation API.
2. 🕒 Smart Browser Timezone Matcher:
When you pick Mumbai, your browser's JavaScript clock matches Indian Standard Time (IST). When you pick New York, it matches US Eastern Time. Websites see consistent data, preventing timezone mismatch detection — all without touching your Windows/system clock.
3. 🇮🇳 320+ Indian Cities & 580+ Global Presets:
Easily choose from over 900 verified locations with instant search across states, capitals, and major hubs.
4. ⭐ Custom Favorites Manager:
Star (⭐) your frequently used cities to create your personal safe zone list for fast 1-click access.
5. 🎲 Safe Session-Locked Teleport:
Jump to a random safe city with 1 click. Locations stay locked during your active browsing session to prevent anti-fraud systems from flagging "impossible rapid travel."
6. 🔒 100% Offline with Zero Telemetry:
The extension never makes outbound network calls. No user accounts, no tracking analytics, no ads. All coordinates and logic run entirely within your local browser.

APF filters the browser's HTML5 Geolocation API. It does NOT change your network IP address. If a website looks up your location using your ISP's IP address rather than asking for browser GPS permissions, you should use a trusted VPN alongside APF.

• No "100% Silver Bullet" in Web Privacy:
There is no single tool that can guarantee 100% absolute anonymity on the modern internet. Websites track users using multiple overlapping vectors — including IP addresses, account logins, cookies, and advanced browser fingerprinting.
• Scope of Protection:
APF specifically and effectively neutralizes HTML5 browser GPS tracking and timezone leaks. It does not protect against IP logging, canvas fingerprinting, or information you voluntarily provide through online accounts.
• As-Is Provision & Responsibility:
This extension is provided "as-is" as a privacy-enhancement and testing utility. It does not provide any warranties, legal guarantees, or promises of total invulnerability against sophisticated tracking systems. Users are encouraged to combine APF with privacy-focused browsing habits and VPNs for layered security.
