      shown on the toolbar icon and in the popup. It could reset to zero partway
      through loading a page, include requests blocked on the previous page, or
      show a lower number in the popup than on the badge. After allowlisting a
      site, the badge is now hidden straight away instead of continuing to count
      up or showing a stale number.
    • Moved the vendored Source Sans Pro font files into a local vendor
      directory, continuing the third-party dependency cleanup started with the
      LICENSE-THIRD-PARTY work.
    • Added the latest recorded change of each filter list subscription, including
      removed ones, to the debug information included in bug reports.
    • Fixed an issue on Manifest V3 where the browser could stop the background
      service worker part way through startup or while applying a filter list
      update, which could leave filter lists missing or only partly updated.

    • Added support for snippet exception filters (domain#@$#command). A snippet
      exception disables any command of a snippet filter (#$#) that parses to
      the same command and arguments, on the domains the exception is active on.
      Snippet filters whose commands are all disabled are no longer returned by
      snippets.getFilters(); filters with only some commands disabled are
      returned with the remaining commands as their script. Unlike snippet
      filters, snippet exceptions require neither a privileged subscription nor a
      domain restriction.
    • Fixed default filter lists not being restored on Firefox after they had all
      been removed, if a filter had previously been added by an experiment
    • Fixed a race condition that could cause an on-page dialog to silently fail to
      reappear after same-tab navigation

    Added an experiment to test impression caps on on-page dialogs.
    Fixed: The "An issue has caused your ABP settings to be reset to
    default" warning could appear even though nothing had actually been
    lost, on both new and existing installs. On Manifest V3, this also
    covered the browser terminating the background service worker part
    way through adding or updating filter lists — a genuine risk of
    ending up with subscriptions missing or incomplete — which the
    extension now guards against by keeping the service worker alive
    while this is in progress.
    Fixed: Chrome could log an unchecked runtime.lastError ("Cannot create
    item with duplicate id block_element") after the background service
    worker restarted, since the "block element" context menu item was still
    registered from before the restart.
    Fixed: The conflict-detection partner-extension ping could throw an
    uncaught error on Chromium browsers when it reached a Firefox-only
    extension ID in its list, which also silently skipped pinging every
    extension listed after it.
