Works really well as intended, however an option to filter media type (png, jpg, webp) would be great.

please update. since last update (12.03.2025) of firefox it stopped working for Instagram and it now opens extracted images in new tab, which is wrong behavior logic for such pages.
UPDATE: reverting to previous version fixed all current problems.

It's all right, but it doesn't include any SVGs in the mix.

Hello! I wanted to write my own extension to find 'overlayed' image when I click on it, so that I could save it (as services often don't let you do that, for example Instagram). Luckily I didn't have to do that as I found your extension and it seems to work really well. Thank you for writing it :)

Yes, correct, context menu like right clicking the page.
There are webs that the image disappears when the cursor is removed,
if there is the botton in the contextual menu you can get the image with its add-on.

Thanks, I think with keys it will work too.

In launch settings, it does not save any extract checkboxes.
Extract on ALT + SHIFT + I works but does not save the checkbox.
