The Getlatests utility is equipped with powerful permissions such as storing, sending notifications, setting alarms, and accessing all URLs, making it fully functional. It uses service workers in the background to manage tasks and optimize performance.
The outstanding feature of Getlatests is the ability to automatically retrieve and update the list of the 5 latest articles from the getlatests feed through the fetchFeed function. When there is a request from a pop-up, the widget will respond by returning the latest posts stored in the latestPosts array.
