It seems that this extension hasn't been updated in a very long time and that might be the cause.

- Betygsatt 5 av 5av Firefox-användare 18623341, för 6 månader sedanSince YouTube changed to 3 massive thumbnails per row, this extension has been the answer. It lets you set the thumbnail size and number of thumbnails per row, or just revert to an older YouTube layout. Love it.

in the late 2009 edition there is a lot of overlay with the buttons such as the notifications button, create button, subscriptions and history buttons overlay onto the youtube layout
the search bar is broken and needs fixing
ok another issue i encountered was that in the same old design the dislike button is cut in half
