A LOT of CPU usage, removing the addon reduced CPU usage by about 60%

afer long digging on what is constantly eating my CPU resources even without browsing at all, I found it is this addon

It does what it needs to do, true. That's why I won't rate it it with a single star. But it is causing an insane CPU use on my Mac, draining my battery within an hour. Took a lot of work to find out the cause. Please fix this ASAP!

Massive resource hog. Why? It took me forever to figure out which extension was hitting the processor so hard in comparison to everything else, and it turns out to be this one.

Doesn't really let you control what domains to use or not use CORS on, whitelist acts as a blacklist as opposed to "whitelist". Kind of disappointing how the creator failed to implement a basic feature.

update: it's memory and cpu hog, avoid

firefox is without payments now, so this tool enables them. unfortunately the whitelist acts opposite as expected, i'd of course like to whitelist certain banking apps. No matter what is the interpretation of it, I'd expect whitelist to be blacklist at the same time, depending if main switch is on/off.

I just installed this. I'm learning react, and even with Vite, I was getting CORS errors to a particular API.

This extension does work, and so does the test site. You might need to go into the options page and allow headers. I also set the origin to *.
