Vault Security continuously monitors your browsing to detect and block online threats before they reach you.

When you visit a website, Vault analyzes it in real-time using URL heuristics, DOM analysis, and threat intelligence (Google Safe Browsing, VirusTotal, WHOIS, SSL) to warn you about phishing and
malicious sites before you interact with them.

Vault also blocks dangerous ads, trackers, and cryptominers at the network level using curated filter lists (EasyList, EasyPrivacy), and applies cosmetic filtering to remove intrusive ad elements from pages.

Your Gmail inbox is continuously scanned for phishing emails, suspicious senders, and dangerous links - with flagged emails highlighted directly in your inbox.

Additional protections include:
- Monitoring your installed extensions for known security risks and alerting you when a risky extension is detected
- Checking if your email has been exposed in known data breaches
- Warning you when you enter passwords that appear in breach databases
- Detecting dangerous file downloads before you open them
- Providing disposable email addresses so you never expose your real contact info to untrusted sites
- Routing your traffic through an encrypted proxy to protect your connection on untrusted networks

All threat analysis happens locally first - only URLs and security signals are sent to our backend for enrichment. We never collect page content, form data, or browsing history.
