SynthID Check — mikkisnuyh

Checks images, video and audio for a SynthID watermark, the invisible mark that Google's AI tools and partners such as OpenAI add to what they generate. The file is handed to Google's official detector at synthid.com, where you sign in and see the result.

How to use
• Drag an image: a box appears in the corner of the page. Drop the image on it.
• Right-click any image, video or audio and choose "Check with SynthID". If a site covers its media, right-click the spot and choose "Find media under the cursor and check with SynthID".
• Or click the toolbar button, choose "Pick media on this page" and click the media. Alt+Shift+S starts this directly.

Settings are in the toolbar menu: the drop zone and its corner, switching to the synthid.com tab, and keyboard shortcuts.

Good to know
• Only SynthID watermarks can be detected. If none is found, that doesn't prove a person made the media.
• Text can't be checked.
• You need a Google, Apple or ChatGPT account to sign in on synthid.com, which has daily limits.
• Streaming videos (such as YouTube) can't be captured.

Privacy
Nothing is collected. A file is downloaded and handed to synthid.com only when you start a check.
