Plyph is designed to keep you in control of your text and AI provider.

Your text is processed only when you explicitly trigger an action. Requests go directly to your configured AI provider or local model server, without passing through a Plyph-operated backend.

Credentials are stored locally, with optional password-based encryption for API keys. Plyph has no analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Cloud providers may have their own usage limits and pricing. Local Ollama models require no cloud API key.
