LoreKeep collects only the information needed to provide the extension and web app.

Account and authentication data:
LoreKeep uses account information and the LoreKeep session cookie to confirm that the user is signed in and to save entries to the correct LoreKeep account. The extension uses the cookies permission only for LoreKeep session cookies on lore-keep.com.

Saved content data:
When the user chooses to save a page, LoreKeep may save page metadata such as title, source URL, resume URL, cover image URL or captured cover image, description, genres, notes, progress fields, and selected library/template information.

Website content:
The extension reads metadata from the active page only when the user opens the popup, uses Quick Save, or uses the floating save/progress control. It does not passively monitor all browsing activity.

Local extension data:
LoreKeep stores local settings such as selected library, floating button preference, page detection settings, confirmed page matches, and app URL configuration.

Data sharing:
LoreKeep does not sell user data and does not share user data with third parties for advertising, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes.

Remote code:
The extension does not load or execute remote JavaScript. All extension code is packaged with the add-on.
