- Words in video subtitles on other sites, not only YouTube: TED, lessons with an HTML5 video and common web players. Rest your pointer on a subtitle and the video waits. Click a word, or drag across a few, and the Lexpad card opens. The subtitle line is saved as the example, and the page and the moment as your note.
- Words in Google Meet live captions. Turn captions on in the call and rest your pointer on them: a still copy of the last lines appears, so the words stop moving while you click. "Earlier" shows the last ten lines. Only the word you click and its line are saved, never speaker names.
- Film and series services and other video players can be turned on per site in the Lexpad menu. For a player Lexpad does not know, choose "Try subtitles on this site".
- You decide where Lexpad runs: turn it off on any site from the switch at the top of the menu, the small "⋯" beside the add button, or the right-click menu. The menu lists your sites.
- Fixed: after the extension updated, a tab that was already open could stay on "Looking up the meaning…" for ever. It now says to reload the page.

The subtitle line is saved as the example and the moment in the video as your private note. Works in theater mode, full screen and the mini player, with subtitles in any language. Turn it off, or just the pause, from the toolbar popup.

Report AI content: the card's AI-written meaning now has a small "Report" link. It opens Lexpad's report page, where you pick a reason (offensive or harmful, wrong or misleading, sexual content, other) and send it. The Lexpad team reviews every report.

Safer sign-in.
• Connecting the extension now uses the browser's own sign-in window: you approve the connection on Lexpad's page, and only a one-time code comes back to the extension, which it exchanges for its own session. No session ever passes through a web page.
• Fixed: for an account with no notebook yet, the connect window now closes after you allow it.
• Everything else is unchanged.

Safer sign-in and cleaner notes.
• Connecting the extension is now sealed end to end: the Lexpad web page hands the extension its session encrypted to a key only the extension holds, so no other script on the page can read it.
• The "Seen on" note saved with a word keeps only the page's address, never query strings or fragments (for example ?token=… or #…).
• Nothing else changes: same permissions, same features.

A word now lands in the notebook whose writing system it belongs to.

The notebook you pick in the popup still wins, except where the word could
not possibly be in that language — a Persian word is not filed into an
English notebook in silence. The card says where the word went.

When no notebook takes that script, the card says so instead of offering a
button that would refuse.
