FlashDigest does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data to our servers.

The extension reads the content of a link only when the user intentionally hovers over or interacts with that specific link in order to generate a preview. Preview processing is performed by the extension for the purpose of showing the user a digest of the selected link.

FlashDigest may store user preferences and saved previews locally in the browser using extension storage. This local data remains on the user’s device and is not sent to us.

The extension does not track browsing history, does not create user profiles, does not use analytics, and does not include advertising or third-party tracking.
