DEV Tab — Pink Pixel

DEV Tab turns your browser's new tab page into a feed of posts from DEV (dev.to). Open a tab, see what developers are writing about today, and click through to anything that looks good.

I wanted something like daily.dev that only shows DEV, so I made it.

What you get:
- Today, This week, Rising and Latest feeds
- Trends, Events (live streams and challenges), Podcasts and Videos tabs
- An Orgs tab with posts from the DEV organizations you pick
- Tag filters, plus hidden tags for anything you never want to see
- Search from the box at the top (press / to jump there)
- Click the heart on a card to see every reaction count, or the comment count to read the newest comments
- Arrow keys move between cards and Enter opens one
- A compact mode if you'd rather skip the cover images
- Feeds are cached for 10 minutes, so new tabs open fast and still show posts when you're offline

Add a DEV API key in settings (optional) and you also get:
- My feed, built from the tags you follow
- Your reading list
- Search that finds posts by meaning, not just matching words
- A stats dashboard with views, reactions, comments, followers, your posts and drafts, and an activity heatmap

DEV's API doesn't let apps react, comment or bookmark, so those still happen on dev.to.
