DBlocker — The Dusk

DBlocker helps limit popups, unwanted redirects, and disruptive advertising behaviors while browsing the web. You proactively choose the pages to protect and allow the content you want to use.

Key features:

• Blocks popups and behaviors that open advertising tabs.
• Controls redirects, outgoing links, and forms leading to other pages on websites with protection enabled.
• Disables click-jacking layers that have been identified.
• Controls embedded content frames (iframes), with Smart Player modes to adjust how video players are handled.
• Manages the list of protected pages and exceptions for each type of behavior.
• View blocked items, toggle protection, and manage exceptions from the extension interface.
• Export and import configurations.
• Supports Vietnamese, English, and Chinese; defaults to Vietnamese.

How to use:

After installation, open the page you need to protect, click the DBlocker icon, and turn on protection for that page. The list of protected pages is initially empty. You can manage sites in SITES and exceptions in ALLOW.

If the content or player you need to use is blocked, add the appropriate exception and then reload the page.

In version 1.1.0, DBlocker allows users to close or skip banners on identified buttons, including some close buttons that use javascript: links. The popup and redirect control layers continue to function.

DBlocker focuses on annoying behaviors; the extension does not guarantee the removal of all advertisements on every website.
