ClipVault is a lightweight, secure, and 100% local clipboard manager and password vault. Designed with absolute privacy in mind, it operates entirely offline inside your browser's sandboxed storage.

With zero network permissions requested in the manifest, ClipVault is physically incapable of transmitting your copied text, passwords, or interaction data to any remote server or third party.

- The extension automatically detects and excludes plain-text API keys, security tokens, or hashes (any contiguous 32+ character mixed-case string or key prefixes like ghp_ and sk_live_) from the unencrypted clipboard history.

- Safely manages login details and passwords copied directly from password input fields.
- Hidden behind toggleable visibility controls, passwords remain completely safe from the general clipboard list.
- Vault entries are kept separate and are never subject to the auto-delete filter.

⚡ Session Controls (Auto-Clear)
- Want complete temporary browsing? Toggle the "Auto-clear history on browser close" switch in the settings panel.
- All stored clipboard history and vault passwords will be automatically wiped clean whenever you close the browser.
