Browser Custom Shortcuts — MrWeed

Custom Shortcuts adds convenient, customizable keyboard shortcuts for Firefox tab actions that normally require using menus or the mouse.

Current features

Unload selected tabs
Quickly unload selected tabs to free memory while keeping the tabs open and ready to reload when needed.

Default shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+U

Group / ungroup selected tabs
Select multiple tabs and instantly place them into one Firefox tab group. If all selected tabs are already in the same group, the shortcut removes them from that group instead.

Default shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+G

If selected tabs belong to different groups, or some are grouped while others are not, they are brought together into one new group.

Customizable shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts can be changed from the extension's settings page, so you can choose combinations that fit your workflow.

Simple and privacy-friendly

Custom Shortcuts does not read webpage contents, does not access your browsing data, does not make external network requests, and does not collect or transmit personal information.

More useful Firefox keyboard actions may be added in future versions.
