Privacy Policy
This extension does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data. It clears browsing data on your device through the browser's own APIs; nothing it clears, and nothing about the sites you visit, is ever read into our hands or transmitted anywhere.

Permissions
browsingData — Core functionality — clears the data types you select (browsing history, cache, download history, cookies, site data, form data) for the time range you choose. The extension only asks the browser to delete; it never reads, lists, or copies the data being deleted.
storage — Used to save your settings (selected data types, time range, schedule, excluded sites) and license status locally on the device.
alarms — Used to schedule the periodic cleanup you configure, the optional sync in the background, periodic license refresh, and checks for product notices.
sidePanel (Chromium-based browsers only) — Used to open the extension's side panel, which is its only user interface. On Firefox the same interface is provided by sidebar_action, which needs no permission.
cookies (Firefox only) — Firefox offers no way to exclude specific sites from a cleanup, so when you have excluded sites the extension lists the host names that currently hold cookies, removes your excluded ones from that list, and asks the browser to clear the rest. Only host names are used, the list stays in memory for the duration of that single cleanup, and no cookie value is ever read.
Optional history permission — Requested only when you turn on Zero-retention browsing history, a Pro feature that deletes each page from your history as soon as you visit it. Nothing is requested at install time, and turning the feature off gives the permission back.
Optional host permissions (https:///, http:///) — Requested only when you choose to sync through a storage endpoint of your own, or, on Firefox, when you add your first excluded site, because the cookies API described above cannot see a site's cookies without access to it. Nothing is requested at install time.
Optional data collection (personallyIdentifyingInfo, authenticationInfo, Firefox only) — Requested only when you upgrade to Pro, because your email address and license key are then sent to our license service. Nothing is requested at install time.
Local data storage
Your settings and your list of excluded sites are stored in the browser's local extension storage on the device. No browsing history, URL, cookie, or any other item touched by a cleanup is ever stored, logged, or transmitted — the extension deletes through the browser and keeps no record of what was deleted. The only thing it remembers about a cleanup is the time it ran, which is shown on the home screen.

Zero-retention browsing history (Pro, optional)
When this setting is on, the extension listens for pages you visit and immediately asks the browser to remove each one from your history, skipping sites on your exclusion list. The address of a visited page is used only for that deletion and for the exclusion check; it is never stored, never written to the notice list, and never sent anywhere. The setting is off by default, asks for the history permission before it can be turned on, and stops entirely the moment you turn it off.

Bring your own storage
Cross-device sync is optional and off by default. When you turn it on, you supply your own storage endpoint, and your settings — selected data types, time range, schedule, excluded sites, theme and language — are exchanged directly between your devices and that endpoint. The time of your last cleanup is not synced. We operate no sync server, never receive that data, and never see the endpoint's credentials — they are stored only on your device.

Network communication
Apart from a storage endpoint you configure yourself, the extension only communicates with our first-party servers. api.sovkit.com handles optional Pro license management, which occurs when the user explicitly initiates a purchase or activates a license key; the only data sent is the license key, a device identifier, and an email address during checkout. data.sovkit.com hosts a static announcement file that the extension downloads periodically to show product notices; this request sends no data about you and returns the same file for everyone. No browsing data, history, cookies, or other personal information is ever transmitted.
