Adad is a professional, privacy-first calculator for Firefox with four modes: Basic, Scientific, Programmer, and Converter. Features history, dark/light themes, full keyboard support, copy-and-reuse results, and the ability to calculate any text you select on a webpage. 100% offline.
Four powerful modes
• Basic: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, sign toggle, and clear/backspace.
• Scientific: Trigonometry (sin, cos, tan and their inverses), logarithms, exponentials, powers, roots, factorials, π, e, parentheses, and a DEG/RAD toggle.
• Programmer: HEX, DEC, OCT, and BIN number bases with live readouts, bitwise AND/OR/XOR/NOT, shifts, and selectable 8/16/32/64-bit word sizes. Uses exact 64-bit integer math.
• Converter: Offline unit conversion across 14 categories including length, mass, temperature, area, volume, speed, time, data, energy, pressure, power, angle, and force.
Built for real work
• History: Every calculation is saved automatically. Click any result to reuse it, or Shift+click to reload the original expression. Clear it any time.
• Calculate selected text: Highlight any math expression on a webpage, right-click, and choose "Calculate … with Adad." A floating result appears right next to your selection with a one-click copy button.
• Dark, light, and auto themes: Follows your system preference automatically, or lock it to your choice. Your setting is remembered.
• Full keyboard support: Type numbers, operators, Enter to evaluate, Backspace to delete, Esc to clear, Ctrl+H for history, Ctrl+Shift+C to copy the result, and ? for the shortcut reference.
• Copy and reuse: One-click copy on every result. Click history entries to drop them back into the input.
• Accessibility first: Full ARIA labelling, live-region result announcements, complete keyboard navigation, visible focus outlines, and support for high-contrast and reduced-motion settings.
