• Smaller, tighter note text. The note editor's font size is reduced
  from 14px to 12.5px and its line spacing from 1.5 to 1.35, so notes with
  short lines (scores, lists, schedules) read as more compact and less
  spaced-out, instead of feeling oversized.

• Pasted text jumping to the right edge of the note. Pasting content
  (from Word, Excel, PDFs, or various websites) could carry an invisible
  right-to-left/left-to-right control character, or the source's own text
  direction, into the note. Because the editor is always left-aligned but
  the underlying direction of that line had flipped, the pasted text (and
  the cursor) would land at the far right of the page instead of the left,
  even though typing normally was never affected.
• Paste is now inserted as clean plain text, stripped of any invisible
  bidi-control characters, so it always inherits the note's normal
  left-to-right styling instead of a source's formatting.
• Notes saved by an earlier version that already contain one of these
  invisible characters are cleaned up automatically the next time they're
  opened.

Nook v1.1.4 — Release Notes

Fixed: delete button becoming unresponsive — if you'd previously dismissed the "delete this note?" confirmation with "don't ask again," the delete button would silently stop working on every future click. The confirmation step has been removed entirely (deleting a note was already safely reversible via the "Undo" toast), so deletion now always works reliably.
New animated brand mark — a subtle, continuously shimmering "Nook" wordmark now appears in the footer.
