Word Hints Lookup is a keyboard-first dictionary for webpages.

Press Command+Shift+L on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+L on other systems. Short keyboard hints appear over visible words. Type a hint to open the selected word in a scrollable side panel—without reaching for the mouse.

Features:

• English definitions, pronunciation, examples, and synonyms
• English–Russian translations
• Keyboard navigation using J/K, arrow keys, Page Up, and Page Down
• Compatibility with keyboard-navigation extensions such as Surfingkeys
• An English-only fallback dictionary when the primary provider is unavailable
• No accounts, advertising, analytics, or lookup history

The selected word is sent to the dictionary provider only after you explicitly choose it. The surrounding sentence and current page URL remain in your browser.
