TabSpot puts a fast, keyboard-first command palette on top of any web page. Press Alt+Shift+K (Command+Shift+K on macOS) or click the toolbar icon, start typing, and get where you're going without touching the mouse.

SWITCH TABS INSTANTLY
Search the titles and addresses of every open tab across all your windows. Tabs in your current window and your active tab rank first, so the right one is usually at the top.

OPEN ANYTHING
Type a URL (with or without https://) to open it, or type anything else to search the web. Local addresses like localhost:3000 work too. Use a prefix to pick a search engine on the fly:
• g: for Google
• ddg: for DuckDuckGo
• br: for Brave
• bing: for Bing

CLOSE TABS WITHOUT LEAVING THE PALETTE
• Press Delete, or use the bin button, to close the selected tab. The palette stays open so you can keep going.
• /close-others closes every tab in the window except the one you're on.
• /close-all closes every tab in the window.
Both bulk commands ask you to press Enter a second time to confirm, and they never touch pinned tabs or tabs in other windows.

MADE TO LOOK GOOD
TabSpot appears as a centered frosted-glass panel over the page you were on, and your focus returns to that page when you close it. Choose from six themes (Obsidian, Glacier, Sand, Ember, Aurora, System), pick an accent color or follow your system accent, and tune the panel blur, background blur, and opacity.

CUSTOMIZE EVERYTHING FROM INSIDE THE PALETTE
Type /settings, /theme, or /help. Change the default search engine, result density, number of results, and whether tab addresses are shown. Your preferences are saved with Firefox's extension storage and follow you if you use Firefox Sync.

KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
• Up / Down: move through results
• Enter: open the selected result
• Ctrl/Command + Enter: open the typed URL or web search directly
• Delete: close the selected tab
• Esc: go back, then close

PRIVACY
TabSpot has no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts, and it does not send your tabs or browsing data anywhere. Web searches go to the search engine you choose, only when you open one.

GOOD TO KNOW
Firefox does not allow extensions to run on some pages, such as about: pages, addons.mozilla.org, and the built-in PDF viewer. TabSpot shows a "!" badge on its toolbar icon there; try it on a regular website. You can change the shortcut in Firefox's extension shortcut manager (about:addons, gear icon, Manage Extension Shortcuts).

Notes to reviewer

TabSpot has no build step. The uploaded source is exactly what runs; nothing is minified or bundled.

Permissions
- tabs: read titles/URLs of open tabs to search them; switch to, open, and close tabs on the user's request.
- storage: save the user's preferences (storage.sync).
- activeTab + scripting: when the user presses the shortcut or clicks the toolbar icon, overlay.js is injected into the current page to show the palette. No content scripts are declared in the manifest and no host permissions are requested.

web_accessible_resources
palette.html is exposed to <all_urls> so the overlay iframe can load on any page. The background script only accepts messages from palette.html running in the extension itself, and it also checks a fresh random token (created per open by overlay.js) with the overlay before acting, so a web page cannot drive the palette.

innerHTML warnings from the linter (palette.js)
The result list is rendered with innerHTML. Every dynamic value (tab titles, URLs, favicon URLs, search text) passes through escapeHtml(); everything else is fixed markup or a fixed SVG string.

Network
The extension makes no network requests of its own. Tab icons are shown from the favicon URL Firefox reports for each tab. Web searches only happen when the user chooses to open one.

Closing tabs
Delete or the bin button closes the selected tab. /close-others and /close-all require a second Enter to confirm, and skip pinned tabs and other windows.

How to test
1. Open any normal website (not an about: page).
2. Press Alt+Shift+K, or click the toolbar icon.
3. Type to search tabs; press Enter to switch. Try /settings and /help.
4. Open a few extra tabs, type part of a tab's title, and press Delete to close it.

Bundled font
Figtree (SIL Open Font License) is included in fonts/ with its license file, so no font is loaded from the network.

The manifest also contains a background.service_worker key for Chrome compatibility; Firefox ignores it and uses background.scripts.

Two things to check before you paste. I wrote "Alt+Shift+K" because that's the suggested key in your manifest. I stated that TabSpot makes no network requests of its own. The favicon note in the reviewer text covers the one place a tab icon could load from a site, so it's the honest wording.
