Acerca desta extensão
TabIframe is a lightweight, privacy-focused Firefox extension designed to solve the common usability issue of custom new tab pages breaking the address bar focus.
By loading your preferred dashboard (such as start.me) inside a seamless, edge-to-edge iframe rather than performing a standard page redirect, TabIframe leaves the browser's address bar completely untouched. This ensures that the cursor remains locked to the URL bar with text fully highlighted upon opening a new tab (Ctrl + T), preventing muscle-memory typing errors and eliminating input lag.
Key features include:
True Native Focus: Never lose address bar selection or miss early keystrokes again.
Customizable URL: Easily change the embedded page via a built-in options UI backed by browser.storage.
Zero Data Collection: Fully compliant with Manifest V3 and Mozilla privacy standards, operating entirely locally without external telemetry.
