- Avaliado em 4 de 5por overtomanu, a há 3 mesesThis addon was good when I tried it sometime ago. Now I found out I can't move tabs between windows. Drag and drop does not work. I think this same extension is present in chrome. There drag and drop is working fine.
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 18213074, a há 4 mesesIts good. It has one issue. Where you can't open saved windows. Unless you make the app full screen.
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Vic, a há 7 mesesIt was working properly in the past, but now it just shows blank page when I open it. At least the counter on the icon works (793 tabs). But it is unable to load them in the add-on's window. I tried to reinstall the addon, but it did not work.

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Martin, a há 2 anosI use TMP in the sidebar in vertical-view.
A function "Open in sidebar by default" (like "open in own tab by default"), so that a click on the TMP icon opens and closes the sidebar with TMP, would improve this usage a lot! - Avaliado em 4 de 5por duQnKRzcF5gfZ1Zd14lMSltP0DbRr, a há 2 anosOn a multi-4K-monitor machine, we use the VerticalView and run TMP in a dedicated maximized window (on a dedicated 4K monitor) with URL: moz-extension://3f5675dc-079d-4207-a975-12a7971dd2c3/popup.html
We do this with many dozens of windows open, and many hundreds (sometimes more than a thousand) of tabs open - so, TMP is useful for productivity reasons.
However, while TMP is a good and needed addon, there is one bug that needs to be fixed:
The order of windows displayed in TMP must not be changed. Everytime a user switches to another window, TMP re-orders the display to show that window at the top. This re-ordering of windows is very-undesirable and also consumes too much CPU resources. Preserving the original order of windows is very-much-preferred and desired.
Besides the above bug, another improvement would be to reduce CPU consumption in other ways by making this addon less bulky - again, because most users who use this addon probably use it because they have many hundreds of tabs open at the same time. We disabled animations but still, TMP tends to slow down the browser a little when many hundreds (or more than a thousand) tabs open at the same time.
Also, for future versions, please preserve compatibility with WaterfoxClassic by ensuring that this addon works with Firefox versions 56+ (since WaterfoxClassic is forked from Firefox 56.6).
Also please preserve the VerticalView feature in future versions because seeing the full tab titles is, in our humble opinion, best for productivity reasons.

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Tomas, a há 2 anosGreat app with a lot of potential and I am using it all the time. But there is a massive bug. When I close the firefox and reopen it, all the tabs names are shifted and randomly allocated to one another and I have to go one by one and set the correct names againg which is very, very painful. Please, for the love of humanity solve it.

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Claudy Dark, a há 3 anosThank you for this nice extension, I really like the search function, but I don't work much with multiple windows or pinned tabs, instead I am missing the option to move the search selected tabs to a bookmark folder (new one or existing one), these are more stable to store inside firefox and can be easily opened as new window if needed. Now I have to open the selected tabs in new window to move them from there to my bookmark folder.
Please, implement move to bookmark folder ;-) - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Lisa Chang, a há 3 anosIf it can show Thumbnail tab view, that would be better.

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por HristoPenkov, a há 3 anosAwful, it doesn't restore the tabs at all. I have a session with around 500 tabs saved, each time I click on the restore button it just opens up 3 or 5 unrelated tabs from god knows when and that's it.
This is the second time this has happened, the first time I lucked out and somehow managed to make it restore the window with all of the tabs. Sadly my procrastination got the better of me and I never wrote down how I managed to do it, come to think of it I should have just installed another addon instead.
Now I have a the saved window sitting there, with all the tabs listed, when I hover over them the links are displayed, yet I can't copy them and I can't restore the session.
Edit:
The method provided by the developer below worked and I was able to restore my session.
I don't know how to reply so I decided to update the review and also bump up the rating. I was emotional when I originally wrote the review and I don't think it's fair for the addon to receive such a low rating due to 1 bug, especially when the developer was quick to offer a working solution.
As far as the number of tabs is concerned, unless the addon is opened in it's own tab it won't restore windows no matter how many tabs are present, which is weird as everything else in the UI is working correctly.
Anyway, thanks for the help and sorry for my bad temper.

publicado a há 3 anosHi Hristo,
first of all that doesn't seem right - it shouldn't behave this way. But please remember that "session management" is marked as an experimental feature and that it's in beta. So you have to use it on your own risk. I have never tested it on a window with 500 tabs...
Now to solve your issue : Can you please try to open the tab manager in its' own tab ( right click on the icon and "Open in own tab" ) and then try restoring the sessions from there? And then see if that works?
Edit: Glad it worked for you! It seems the popup gets closed half-way when sending the request to the background page - maybe the background page gets killed because the popup was closed? Going to investigate this for one of the next updates! Thank you for the update and confirming the work-around!

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por abhi, a há 3 anosIts really good but is there a way to reposition the paypal, rating and setting icon as they overlap the tab name which makes it difficult to read the tab name without increasing the size of the manager itself

Yeah I also think that the UI is a little confusing. The 4 window icons are too prominent, big and colorful compared to HOW OFTEN (I think) they are used. Especially the close window one. I would put these inside an ellipsis menu in the top right.
Bug: after picking a window color, the view doesn't return to show all tabs. I need to open the picker dialog again and click X to return. This is in contrast with renaming a window, which correctly returns to the main view.
The color picker dialog is really confusing. I don't understand what logic the pre-selected pastel colors are ordered by, e.g. the blue hues are all over the place.
I don't like the tinted hues of the dark mode. I would prefer a dark gray mode, not a "dark green mode", if you see what I mean. The color scheme is just unnatural, including the windows colors.
I hope these issues can be fixed in the future, otherwise it's a really useful extension to cut through the tab chaos! - Avaliado em 4 de 5por oehmsmith, a há 4 anosThis is SOOOO CLOSE to what I've been looking for. And that is to have categorised windows. For example 'social media', 'development', 'devops', 'home', .... and to get any new window that opens to land in the correct one of these. Currently the allocation is manual and theoretically once setup it wouldn't be much work at all. Setup works in TMP, excepting it is NOT PERSISTED. The tabs will remain together but the newly added titles do not stay. Once Markus adds a few more features on top of the *fixed version* of this plugin we will be well on the way to utopia. At that time my 4 stars will become 5.
New Features I'd desire to see include:
1. Keyboard shortcut to enter the 'search' input (Oo I found it - Shift-CMD-M by default on Mac)
2. Auto-assignment to categoriesed windows of newly opened URL. Initially can be simply based on pattern matching or base URLs. Work up to baysian learning, or based on other people's classifications.
Other Issues
----
1. 26.11.20 - One month later. Tonight either TMP or FireFox or another Addon (but i've never seen this happen before installing TMP), nearly every tab from every window moved to the one window. It left 1 or 2 tabs behind in each window. Pretty annoying as I purposely organise the tabs into windows.
