Every developer has copied a code example from Stack Overflow, a blog post, or an old README, only to find it silently breaks - because the library moved on since that example was written.

StaleTutorial catches this at the moment you're about to copy the code, not after you've pasted it and started debugging.

--> How it works:
- Scans code blocks on Stack Overflow, Dev.to, Medium, GitHub, and Gists for npm package + version references
- Checks each referenced version against the live npm registry
- If a version is more than one major behind, or over 2 years old, adds a small dismissible badge under the code block with the current version and a link to the package

--> What it doesn't do:

Never modifies, executes, or interacts with page code
Never sends page content anywhere - the only network calls are read-only package name + version lookups against registry.npmjs.org
No tracking, no analytics, no data collection
