art2pc — Last updated: April 2, 2026
The short version: This service does not track you and does not want to. Google Sign-In is used only to keep the door closed to people who are not supposed to be here. Your email address is checked once per request and then forgotten.
What we collect
art2pc collects no personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the service. The only identity data processed is your Google account email address, obtained via Google's OAuth 2.0 identity service solely to verify that you are an authorised user. This email address is not stored in any database, is not logged to disk, and is used for no purpose other than access control at the moment of each request.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or infer:Your name, profile picture, or any Google account data beyond email address
Browsing history or patterns
Device identifiers or IP addresses (beyond what any web server transiently processes to serve a request)
Usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reports
Cookies or any persistent tracking identifiers
Article content
URLs and article text you submit are processed on a private server for the sole purpose of generating audio files for your personal use. This content is stored only to serve it back to you. It is not shared with any third party, not used for any form of training, advertising, or analytics, and not accessed by anyone other than the operator of the service. Audio files are automatically deleted after 90 days.
Third-party services
art2pc uses Google's OAuth 2.0 service to verify your identity. This interaction is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. art2pc requests only your email address from this interaction; no other Google account data is requested, received, or retained.
Data retention
Audio files are automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity. No personal data is retained after your session ends. There is no account, no profile, and no persistent record associated with you beyond the audio files you have generated.
Your rights
Because we retain no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete under data protection law beyond your audio files. To remove those, contact the operator via the extension's support page on addons.mozilla.org.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Given the minimal-data design of this service, significant changes are not anticipated.
