• setPointerCapture() ensures the drag/resize gesture stays locked to the handle even if the pointer slides off the element mid-gesture — no more stuck drags.
• Handlers are now scoped per-gesture (closure-based) instead of global document listeners — cleaner, no stale event listener leaks.
