Vedro now supports 11 languages. Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian have been added with full translations across all UI elements.

Secret easter egg improvements
The hidden easter egg now lets you set a custom browser tab title in addition to the background text. The text is now outline-only for a cleaner look, and automatically becomes more visible on dark wallpapers.

Wallpaper improvements
The wallpaper shuffle algorithm now avoids repeating the same image twice in a row. It works through all images before reshuffling.

Bug fixes
Fixed a bug where the default GitHub favorite could not be deleted.

What's new

New look
Vedro has been fully redesigned. The old dark blur aesthetic has been replaced with a modern frosted glass look — lighter, cleaner panels with subtle transparency and soft borders that feel right at home on any wallpaper.

Onboarding
A welcome modal now appears on first launch, guiding you through setting Vedro as your homepage. It auto-detects your browser and shows step-by-step instructions. Dismiss it permanently or ask to be reminded next session.

Languages
Vedro now supports 8 languages: Български, Deutsch, English, Magyar, Slovenščina, Srpski, Српски, and Suomi. The language is auto-detected from your browser on first visit and remembered after that.

Brave Search
Added as a sixth search engine option alongside Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Yahoo, and Yandex.

Favorites improvements
- Right-click anywhere on the favorites bar to add a new favorite, not just via the + button
- The + button can now be hidden from settings
- Hiding and showing the favorites bar now animates smoothly

Blur slider
The blur intensity slider is now a custom-built control with a satisfying snap animation when you release it.

Animations
The language and search engine lists now animate open and close smoothly.

Settings
Toggles are reordered and more consistent.
