- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 17935234 do Firefox, há 2 mesesAutomatic detection of languages fails frequently (sayvit's Japanese instead of the actual language Chinese), and there is no option to change the language to translate from, preventing the page from being translated

- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 18798755 do Firefox, há um anoused to be decent but since a few days it's been completely borked with terrible translation from japanese->english and chinese->english. thought it was an issue on google's side but if I input the urls through google translate and translate the page that way I get the regular old translation quality again. something's funky with the extension itself, it seems. however, other translation extensions that work similarly like linguist also seem to return a very broken translation. the issue might be on the api side tbh. also side note: even before these issues the extension struggled with furigana and certain kanji, choosing to use the chinese translation instead
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 14138952 do Firefox, há um anoUsed this translator for several years and today decided to give up. Very poor quality translation, distorting the meaning of the original text. This applies to all three engines - google, yandex and bing. All three cannot translate correctly.
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Triggered Woody, há um anoWorks well, but uses far too much RAM (doubles FF's RAM consumption). I had to disable it.

The pop-up keep showing when I swipe 3 fingers to screenshot eventhough i've set show when necessary and i've set certain languages to be not translated - Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 12828500 do Firefox, há 2 anosLa traduzione dell'inglese è approssimativa migliore quella di Edge
- I am unsure about this addon.
Works great but I always deactivate it when not needed.
Would wish for a completely passive mode, only activated when pressing on a button.
How does the addon recognize the source language, to automatically translate it? I am pretty sure every site you visit is sent to Googles servers, which is horrible for privacy. If that is not the case, I would love to hear.Resposta do desenvolvedor

Annoying, impossible to work. There is no such a shortcut in the settings, no idea how to fix it. Had to turn the add-on off.

publicado há 4 anosWhen you set DeepL to translate the selected text, the DeepL website opens in a new window the first time you translate the selected text, if you keep the window open the next texts will be translated without changing tabs.
And in the extension settings there is an option to translate the selected text by pressing Ctrl twice, if you press Ctrl only once and this window is opening your keyboard may have a double click or something unusual is happening.
