Política de privacidade de Slipnotes
Last updated: 2026-10-07
Slipnote is a private, offline-first notes panel for the Firefox sidebar.
This page explains what data it handles, where it goes, and what nobody
ever does with it.
- Your Google account email address. Sign-in uses Google OAuth. The
extension receives only your Google account ID and email — enough to
identify your account and no more. Google's own privacy policy applies
to the sign-in step itself. - The notes you write. Notes are stored in a PostgreSQL database
hosted by Supabase (supabase.com), and are also cached locally in your
browser's IndexedDB so the panel works offline and syncs in the
background.
- Every account's notes are readable and writable by that account alone,
enforced by the database itself (Row Level Security) — not by the app,
and not by anything the developer can toggle off per request. - All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS).
- Sign-out removes the session and revokes this device's token only; it
does not sign you out of your other devices.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no cookies.
- No third-party SDKs in the extension.
- We never read your notes except to sync them between your own devices.
- We never sell personal information, and there is no advertising
business to sell it to.
- Notes: delete them in the app (Trash → Empty Trash).
- Everything: contact the developer at sahmed1923@gmail.com and we will
delete your account and all of its notes from the database.
Sign-in is handled by Google; hosting is provided by Supabase. Both are
subject to their own privacy policies. No other service sees any data.
Slipnote is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with
it, and the new version will be published here.
