Privacy Policy for Phoenix AWR – Java Applets Runtime

Phoenix AWR – Java Applets Runtime is a Firefox extension developed by MC3D SPA.

Data collection

The extension does not collect, store, sell or share personal information, browsing history, authentication credentials, form data, financial information or user activity.

The extension does not use analytics, advertising services, tracking technologies or remote telemetry.

Local page inspection

The extension locally examines the content of the active web page to detect legacy Java elements, such as APPLET, OBJECT, EMBED, JAR and Java Web Start resources.

This inspection occurs locally within the user’s browser. The detected page content is not transmitted to MC3D SPA or to third-party servers.

Phoenix AWR Desktop integration

When the user explicitly chooses to open detected Java content, the extension sends the relevant page URL to the separately installed Phoenix AWR Desktop application through the phoenixawr: custom protocol.

The URL is transferred locally through the operating system’s protocol handler. The extension does not send the URL to MC3D SPA.

Phoenix AWR Desktop may download resources required by the Java application selected by the user. Those downloads are performed by Phoenix AWR Desktop and not by the Firefox extension.

Third-party websites

Websites and Java applications opened by the user may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies. MC3D SPA is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or applications.

Data security

Because the extension does not maintain a remote user database or transmit personal information to MC3D SPA, no personal extension data is retained by MC3D SPA.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the extension’s functionality or data practices change. The latest version will be published on the official Phoenix AWR website.
