- Avaliado em 3 de 5por avtolik, há um anoGood start, but needs work on the UX. It very rarely offers me to translate a page. There are no settings where I can clearly set which languages to translate.
- Avaliado em 3 de 5por Usuário 17840831 do Firefox, há um anoSome great potential here but I wish I had more control over settings such as "Always translate the following languages/sites" and since translation is done locally, I'd like to pick and choose installed languages. And why does the extension require access to private windows???
- Avaliado em 3 de 5por Usuário 16704467 do Firefox, há um anoGood enough, but what it really lacks is an option to toggle which languages we don't need the translation for, some of us speak more than one language so it would be awesome if such an option could be added!

- Avaliado em 3 de 5por Glort, há um anoIt's a cool thing that Firefox added its own translator as add-on. I hope it improves a lot and can become a competitor with Google Translate and Yandex Translate in the future.
Anyway, I tested it a bit on and I must say that for now it still needs to improve translations in some websites.
E.g.
- I tested it on Bandcamp and translated from English to Italian. Below the profile of an artist, there was written "Records" and Firefox Translations translated it to "i record", which isn't correct because there was the name of a label before.
(But at least this error was highlighted with red because I enabled the "Highlight potential errors in red" function, which is very cool in my opinion).
- I tested it on the Firefox Translations repo on Github and translated again from English to Italian. The "About" word of the About section on the top right of the rectangle with files got translated with "A proposito di"... Only a single word like "Dettagli" (details) or "Descrizione" (description) would have been correct.
Still, in the About section, "a webextension" got translated to "una web estensione", while at the beginning of the README.md the result of the translation was "un WebExtension"; both aren't grammatically correct. "un'estensione web" would be correct in Italian.
These are just a few examples to give the idea of what the translation errors can be and I hope this add-on will get better and better.

- Avaliado em 3 de 5por Usuário 13394576 do Firefox, há um anoTried on a language I knew well enough to check results and it worked ok. Tried to translate a long comment someone else had made in Spanish and got a mesage about the translation engine failing to load.

At present, edge browser can translate web pages, but its extension is too small. Chrome browser is disabled without special means for some reasons. Firefox browser is the browser I have used for the longest time, but the plug-ins that support web page translation cannot be translated now. I hope that the official translation plug-in produced by firefox can achieve Chinese web page translation as soon as possible
This passage is translated by machine. Please forgive me for any incoherence
我需要翻译成中文的功能
目前edge浏览器可以网页翻译,但它的扩展太少,chrome浏览器由于一些原因,不用特殊手段使用等于残废,firefox浏览器是我使用最长时间的浏览器,但现在的支持网页翻译功能的插件都翻译不了了,希望firefox官方出品的翻译插件尽快实现中文的网页翻译功能
这段话是使用机器翻译的,有语句不通顺的地方还请见谅 - Avaliado em 3 de 5por Gabe Pérez, há um anoHi, honestly, the English-Spanish translations are not good. Sometimes the translations are too "simple" and the context doesn't make sense.
It would be nice to have the option to select translation engines like and be able to translate selected text (not just the entire page).
Thank you :) - Avaliado em 3 de 5por sheerun, há um anoGood start, but God knows why it requires access to private browsing, also it lacks many languages, for example Japanese. Isn't this Japanese character in logo? Ironic.
EDIT: Answer to developer comment: no I can't, this option is disabled for this plugin. Here is screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/R4164Vo By the way, thank you for your work on Firefox and saving us from monopoly! :)Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há um anoAccess to private browsing is required only if you want the extension to translate pages while browsing on private mode. You can disable it though. Please note that all translations happen locally, regardless of the browsing mode.
