Bookmark + provides a flexible folder system that lets you create unlimited folders and subfolders. Build an organization structure around projects, topics, interests, research, work, or any system that makes sense to you.

You can rename folders, change their colors, move them, and reorganize their contents using drag-and-drop.

Note: Deleting a folder also deletes the bookmarks contained within that folder.

Tags provide another way to organize your bookmarks without duplicating them across folders.

Add keywords to bookmarks and use them to group related pages regardless of where they are stored. Existing tags are suggested as you type, making it easy to maintain a consistent tagging system.

You can also manage tags globally from Settings, including renaming or deleting tags.


The built-in search makes it easy to find bookmarks even when your collection becomes large.

Search results are updated as you type and can match:

• Bookmark titles
• URLs
• Tags

You can also click a Tag Chip to filter your bookmarks by a specific tag and clear the filter whenever needed.

Use the sidebar to add, edit, rename, move, and organize bookmarks and folders. Add pages quickly through the browser context menu, or use keyboard shortcuts for faster access.

The responsive side panel works comfortably across different screen sizes and resolutions.

1. Install Bookmark + from the Firefox Add-ons store.
2. Open the sidebar by clicking the Bookmark + extension icon or using the default keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+B.
3. Add a bookmark using the + button in the header or footer.
4. Enter a title, optionally select a folder, and add tags.
5. Create folders and subfolders to organize your bookmark collection.
6. Use drag-and-drop to move and reorder bookmarks and folders.
7. Search your collection instantly using the search bar.
8. Filter bookmarks using Tag Chips.
9. Use the context menu to quickly bookmark pages while browsing.
10. Customize keyboard shortcuts through Firefox's extension shortcut settings.
11. Optionally enable cloud synchronization to keep your bookmark collection available across devices.
12. Use Settings to manage tags and export or import your bookmark data.

Bookmark + allows you to export your bookmark data as a JSON file for backup or migration.

You can later import the JSON file to restore your bookmark collection.

This gives you direct control over your bookmark data and provides an additional way to maintain your own backups.


No personal data is collected.

Bookmark + is designed with privacy in mind and does not collect personal information.

If cloud synchronization is enabled, bookmark data is synchronized to provide the requested cross-device functionality.
