posted 7 ġranet iluThanks for the review. While it's certainly possible BetterTTV could increase CPU utilization on a browser tab from emotes rendering in chat, in our experience the increase is nominal for most streams. If you're still having this issue, I'd recommend reaching out to our team so we can help find the actual cause.- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17355228, 2 xhur iluSlows literally every other addon down. Kills the tab when you fullscreen on youtube. Disabled this plugin among the dozens of others and everything was fixed.

posted xahar iluThanks for the review, but it sounds like having too many extensions installed was affecting the performance of YouTube, rather than BetterTTV specifically. BetterTTV only affects the chat frame on YouTube, not the video player nor its full screen behavior. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18320050, 3 xhur ilu

posted 3 xhur iluThanks for the review. BetterTTV actually isn't causing these issues, and BetterTTV doesn't generally affect other extensions. Twitch has recently been rolling out a new site updated with React 18, which many extensions are not initially compatible with. BetterTTV supports this as of 7.5.16, but you will need to reach out to other extension support teams for any bugs you encounter in their extensions as a result of these ongoing Twitch updates. posted 3 xhur iluThanks for the feedback. It isn't clear from your review what specifically was not working. If you are referring to certain emotes not showing up in chat, then be sure to enable all emote providers in the BetterTTV Settings.- Rated 1 out of 5by Wade the Wilson, 4 xhur iluI installed it and it never once worked. Not sure why... I gave up a few days later.

posted 3 xhur iluThanks for the feedback. It isn't clear from your review what specifically was not working, but it is unlikely that the extension "never once worked." If you are referring to certain emotes not showing up in chat, then be sure to enable all emote providers in the BetterTTV Settings. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18248992, 5 xhur ilu

posted 5 xhur iluThanks for the review. This is still a setting under the Auto Play setting on the Channel settings tab. If you're having trouble finding it, search for "Auto Play" in the BetterTTV Settings menu. - Rated 1 out of 5by SzymonL, 5 xhur ilu

Edit: Clarification; BTTV no longer shows emotes enabled on their side on twitch if you use 7tv in tandem with this addon. Good thing is, Frankerfacez still works regardless after enabling emotes from both addons to be shown; which means that it is almost certainly this addon that disables the emotes and not another one. So it would be wise to just install FFZ instead.Developer response
posted sena iluYou seem to be mistaking us for a different extension. BetterTTV is compatible with all other extensions.
Developer response

posted 2 sni iluThanks for the review. We don't currently have a feature for disabling autoplay of streams when opening them. To request this as a feature, please open a feature request over on our GitHub: https://github.com/night/betterttv/issues - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15890969, 2 sni iluNicknames colors intentionnaly broken, no way to disable.

posted 2 sni iluThanks for the feedback. All BetterTTV emotes do work in the Firefox version too. You may want to make sure you've enabled both the BetterTTV Emotes and BetterTTV GIF Emotes settings in the BetterTTV settings. - Rated 1 out of 5by liroken646, 2 sni iludidn't see any particular difference that would make this addon having a reason to exist. Doesn't even send notification of whispers. Doesn't seem to do anything that twitch doesn't already do really. meh

posted 2 sni iluThanks for the feedback. After installing the extension you actually need to configure it in order to use the majority of its benefits/features. You can access the settings from within the chat settings of Twitch chat or the user dropdown in the upper right of the Twitch website.
