posted 7 sni iluOur Disconnect private browsing extension exposes an API that allows us to redirect connections on websites you visit to about:blank. The extension tells your browser to look for requests that match our blacklist and redirect them, thus preventing them from connecting and being able to track you.
For all of our products, as per our privacy policy (https://disconnect.me/privacy), we do not store IP addresses, DNS lookups, sites/addresses accessed, or anything else. We also never collect any personal information other than what you choose to share, like an email address if you write in for support.

I may have to remove this extension to prevent the multiple pop-ups from AVG on Firefox and and other browsers where I have this extension installed.

Disabling the Firefox (v126.0 64-bit) Enhanced Tracking Protection did NOT solve the problem. As soon as I disabled the Disconnect add-on, however, Twitter/X loaded without any problems. Please fix!

- Rated 3 out of 5by pulsar14, 2 xhur iluIcon color should be visible both in light & dark theme. if You keep it to black (almost invisible when the browser is in dark mode), at least add a light outline color (e.g. white)

Firefox built-in tracking protection have all features of this extension and ALREADY use Disconnect's filter list, and it's up-to-date. This extension has been obsoleted (last update was on 2020), so it will break website and doesn't filter new tracking link. - Rated 5 out of 5by 吳昱, 5 xhur ilu
