Unofficial USC WebReg helper: RateMyProfessors ratings, open-seat alerts, conflict flags, rigor scores, and a degree planner.
Inspired by USC Schedule Helper — Trojan Scheduler is an independent, from-scratch rebuild of that idea, with professor ratings, rigor scores, seat alerts, and degree planning built in.
RATINGS ON EVERY PROFESSOR ★ RateMyProfessors rating badges next to every instructor name, with a hover card showing quality, difficulty, would-take-again %, and student review tags. Strict name matching — if the person can't be verified, it says so instead of guessing.
CLASS RIGOR, SIMPLIFIED A 1–10 rigor score pill on every course, built from professor difficulty, review tags (workload, exams), labs, and course level. Multi-professor courses show the average — hover to compare each professor, and expand the course to see each section's own score. One click analyzes your whole semester from myCourseBin or myCalendar.
NEVER MISS A SEAT Color-coded seat counts, "N open / Full / Canceled" pills on collapsed course lists, Watch buttons on full sections with desktop notifications (and optional email alerts) when a seat opens, plus a watchlist panel to check all your sections on demand.
PLAN YOUR DEGREE Import your STARS report or a catalogue.usc.edu program page into the planner: semester-by-semester columns, GE placeholder slots, gold "Plan" pills on class pages showing where your planned courses are offered, "N planned" markers on the program list, and a degree-progress bar.
FILTER ANYTHING A filter bar on every course list: text search, open seats only, no-D-clearance, in-my-plan, and GE chips you can combine (e.g. GE-B + GE-H to find double-count courses). Schedule-conflict flags mark sections that collide with your captured schedule, and a checkout pre-flight check warns about D-clearance, full, canceled, or conflicting sections before you submit.
PLUS Schedule table export with campus-map links for every location, TrojanRates & Coursicle quick links, and per-feature toggles for everything.
Disclaimer: Trojan Scheduler is an unofficial student project by Tyrus Viquelia — USC '28 — and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by the University of Southern California, RateMyProfessors, or USC Schedule Helper. It only restyles USC pages you already have access to and reads data through your existing login — nothing is collected or sent anywhere. Use at your own risk: the author assumes no responsibility or liability for any issues, damages, or consequences arising from its use.
