This extension acts as a bridge between the SoundCloud website and the SoundCloud Desktop Overlay application. It reads the current track information (title, artist, artwork, progress) from the web player and sends it to the desktop app using a local WebSocket connection (ws://127.0.0.1:9876). It also allows the desktop overlay to control playback (play/pause, next, prev, volume). Requirements: Requires the SoundCloud Desktop Overlay application to be running.
