SnapJot Privacy Policy (last updated: 2026-07-04)

SnapJot does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any user data. Period.

• Screenshots: captured locally in your browser, annotated locally, and delivered only to your clipboard or your Downloads folder. They are never uploaded to any server.
• No account: SnapJot has no sign-up, login, or user identifiers.
• No analytics or tracking: SnapJot contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising, or tracking code of any kind.
• No network requests: the extension makes no network connections. All assets are bundled in the package.
• Permissions: SnapJot uses activeTab and scripting only — this lets it capture and annotate the single tab you explicitly invoke it on, at the moment you click the icon or press the shortcut. It cannot read your browsing history or access other tabs.

If this policy ever changes, the change will be described here and in the extension's changelog before taking effect.
