I have the newest version so i can't use this Addon :( but I can rate it. 5*
Session Manager is the most important addon for me, and this is a reason why I still haven't upgraded to FF 57+. I just wonder if the fucking retards in Mozilla will provide the necessary changes in API in the near future so that FF becomes usable as it was before, i. e. authors of the addons that made FF great will be able to port them to the new versions. Otherwise FF is just a piece of crap, with no difference to Chrome and other crappy browsers.
Love it. Used it for a very long time. Now not supported by Firefox anymore? A reason for me to change browser. PLEASE COME BACK !!! I NEED YOU
Amazing addon. Must have. Great job!
We need you bro! :(
WE NEED TO LET MOZILLA MANAGERS KNOW THAT WE NEED APIs FOR SESSION MANAGER: PLEASE DO THE SAME. Even if Session Manager will not be ported, there will APIs which could be used by other session managers, like Tab Session Manager, My Sessions, or Tab Mix Plus.
TO VOTE ON THESE APIs/BUGS, register on bugzilla.mozilla.org first. Then go to pages above and choose "Vote" in "Details" at the top of page. After choosing "Vote" button, next page will appear and you need to mark field next to "Vote for this bug" and then click onto "Change My Votes". Please, vote for the bugs, but do not comment on bugzilla.mozilla.org (unless you have specific information that will help to resolve the bug).
not compatible with latest firefox
muy buen complemento lastima que no funcione.
Please Session Manager!!! come back!!! my life is not the same without you!!!
Actually, I downgraded to Firefox 56 just for this add-on.
If you want this add-on to come back just as I do, then ,please, send a feedback to the firefox team to do something about it. Just press "Alt", then Help>submitFeedback... and write about your love for this add-on and don't forget to add the next link at the end of the message.
If we all do this they will take it seriously and they will put it back to operation.
Please help with your Feedback!
Es confiable, flexible, versátil y poseroso mecanismo para mantener y guardar las pestañas abiertas. Ningún otro complemento lo ha igualado.
It works well. It is reliable
I am in agreement with all those who have been pleading for the return of Session Manager in the newest versions of Firefox. We are told that it is impossible to upgrade Session Manager due to code changes. But we are not told WHY. I mean, is it that you don't know how to work with the new code, or you just don't WANT to?
Or is there just some intrinsic feature of the newest Firefox that prevents any type of session managing? But if that were the case, there wouldn't be an alternative being suggested: Tab Session Manager. I have been using that and it SUCKS. Big time. Why can't Tab Session Manager have all the features that Session Manager did? Why can't we save the different SIZES of our windows within a single session, instead of all the windows coming back up in the exact same size? What's even worse is when a session I manually saved myself doesn't even come back up! Or a tab that wasn't even in the session shows up. Or sessions come up TWICE so I have double the number of windows!!! Or maybe not even double.... only SOME of the windows are opened twice.
Tab Session Manager is driving me bonkers and it SUCKS. Oh, did I already say that? Or..... maybe it's Firefox itself that is the culprit? I'm not at all sure that the newest version has been an improvement! I WANT SESSION MANAGER BACK, or I want at LEAST a new plugin that works exactly the same way.
Please.... Developer of Session Manager..... please tell us WHY you will not be able to create a new version that can be used with the new Firefox. It's not even possible? Or you don't WANT to? If you don't WANT to, why not find somebody who WILL?
(By the way, my five-star review is based on the OLD version of Session Manager that I loved. I'm totally pissed that it doesn't work anymore.)
Best Session Manager for any browser. I arranged my Firefox usage completely around this plugin. For each type of work I load the appropriate session and if something changes the session will automatically update. I have *hundreds* of sessions saved, each dedicated to one particular area of study, work project or just general area of interest. I switched back to FF56 and I will stay with that version until there is a Session Manager for a later FF version or for another browser.
Absolutely gutted it's gone. A fantastic add-on that never failed me. Trying desperately to get back the previous Firefox version.
Очень удобное расширение и очень удобный интерфейс. Очень жаль, что оно не работает с последними версиями Мозиллы.
This is the add-on I relied on more than any other when it was supported. I want it back ASAP.
It was one of the best extensions for Firefox version <57 !
Thank you so much for saving my marriage so many times lol (after Firefox crashed and all my wife's tabs were lost) !
Definitely the best browsing session manager I have ever had.
I switched back to older FF versions just to keep my sessions.
Well worth updating for compatibility with new FF versions.
Would be happy to pay for it.
This was the best manager I have ever had. I switches back to older FF versions just to keep my sessions. Three times I lost a lot of saved sessions using the build in session manager in FF Quantum. What do you think Michael if you make your manager payable?
The reason why I've swiched back to older Firefox and deactivated Updates. With this Add-on it's still better.
Отличное приложение ,лучшее в своём роде.
Best tab manager going until recent firefox update where its now been made legacy. Still a 5* in my books and had many years of flawless use. Thank You Michael!
Works perfect in Basilisk 2018.01.05
I've been using this for years, starting on Firefox, then Pale Moon, and now running concurrently on Pale Moon and Basilisk.
Without session manager firefox is useless. I'm refusing to upgrade Firefox for a while, then I have to switch to Chrome (there is session buddy)
This is a huge time-saver for me. In the past I would have to make a folder, name it, and then save a shortcut to each tab. Now I just save the session, close the browser and move on with my work. If I want, I can copy the .session file to my work folder and go back any time.
Also, everyone has to use Firefox ESR. All of the typical Firefox problems go away, and all of the add-ons work perfectly. This is not a suggestion, it is a necessity!!!
