Informazioni sull’estensione
RemovePaywall opens news and magazine articles in a clean, distraction-free reader view — free, no login, no ads in the reader.
One click on the toolbar icon (or Alt+Shift+R, or right-click a link → "Read link without the paywall") sends the page to removepaywall.co, which extracts the clean article text. If the live page is gated, it automatically checks public archives — archive.today and the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.

- Free, no account, no ads in the reader
- Reader-first: extracts the article, then falls back to public archives
- Works on 240+ publications in several languages, with live per-site success rates
- Honest about limits: hard subscription walls only come through when a public archive exists
- Works in Firefox on desktop and Android
- The extension itself does nothing to the pages you visit — it just opens the reader
