Mute is slow and too much bother. Just hide stuff you don't want to see.
What's new in 1.2.2:
New:
Added a Keywords tab alongside Subreddits — hides any post whose title or body text contains a chosen word or phrase, matched case-insensitively and anywhere in the text by default (no wildcard needed for a plain word). This complements subreddit-level blocking for topics that span many subreddits at once, e.g. tribute posts following a public figure's death.
Improved:
Clarified the in-app wildcard documentation: * only expands where it's placed (foo = starts with, foo* = contains anywhere), matching standard file-glob conventions. No functional change, just clearer guidance in the popup.
Fixed:
Declared browser_specific_settings.gecko_android.strict_min_version (142.0) alongside the existing gecko.strict_min_version (140.0), so the built-in data-collection consent screen is correctly gated on both desktop and Android per Mozilla's requirements.
No new permissions in this release. The extension still collects no data — both lists are stored locally via browser.storage.local.
No account or login required. To test: visit reddit.com or reddit.com/r/popular, open the extension popup, add a subreddit name or wildcard pattern, and confirm matching posts or subreddits disappear from the feed.
