QuickCopy — Copy Any Text You Can See
If you can see it, you can copy it.
QuickCopy lets you copy text that normally can't be selected — from images, screenshots, videos, PDFs, presentations, code and other visual content.
How it works
Alt + Shift + Drag over any text → release → copied automatically.
Prefer a simpler shortcut? Ctrl + Drag is also available as an alternative.
No menus. No uploading. No complicated workflow.
What you can copy
QuickCopy also tries to preserve line breaks and indentation when copying code.
Private & Local
QuickCopy performs text recognition entirely on your device.
Simple by Design
You don't need to know what OCR is.
That's it.
A Note About Limitations
QuickCopy uses local text recognition, so results can vary depending on the content you're selecting.
Very small, blurry, heavily stylized or low-contrast text may not be recognized perfectly. Complex layouts and some websites, videos or protected content may also behave differently depending on how the content is rendered.
QuickCopy is designed to work across a wide range of visual content, but it cannot guarantee perfect recognition in every situation.
We're continuously improving accuracy, especially for code, mixed formatting and difficult images.
Free & Open Source
QuickCopy is free and open source.
