Informativa sulla privacy per OffRadar
OffRadar is a browser extension that builds Spotify discovery playlists. We run no server and we do not collect, store, or sell any of your personal data on our side. Everything runs directly in your browser.
- Data processed and where it stays
To work, the extension stores information locally in your browser (via chrome.storage.local), on your device only: - your Spotify access tokens (obtained via OAuth sign-in, to read your taste and create playlists);
- your Spotify Client ID (which you enter during setup);
- your history of generated playlists and chosen language.
This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
- Third-party services contacted
The extension communicates directly, from your browser, with: - Spotify: to sign you in, read your top artists/tracks and recently played, and create/update your playlists. Subject to Spotify's Privacy Policy.
- Last.fm: for similar-artist discovery. Only artist names (derived from your listening) are sent. Subject to Last.fm's Privacy Policy.
- Share page
When you share a playlist, a page on getoffradar.com shows that playlist's embedded Spotify player. This page is static (hosted on GitHub Pages); opening the player may let Spotify set its own cookies, per its policy. We place no trackers on it. - No ads, no trackers
OffRadar contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and sells no data. - Deleting your data
- Use the extension's "Sign out" button to clear the account's local data;
- Uninstalling the extension removes all local data;
- You can revoke the app's access from your Spotify account settings.
