Link Guard is a browser security extension designed to help users detect potentially dangerous or phishing links before opening them.

The extension automatically analyzes links using multiple safety checks and provides a risk score based on several indicators.

Main features:

• Phishing link detection based on URL patterns and risk indicators
• Domain analysis including domain age using RDAP data
• robots.txt inspection to identify restricted or sensitive paths
• Automatic link risk scoring and classification (SAFE / SUSPICIOUS / DANGEROUS)
• Safe sandbox opening of suspicious links in a private browser window
• Link check directly from the context menu (right-click on any link)
• Security notification badge showing the result of the latest link analysis
• Statistics panel showing visited domains and redirects

All analysis is performed locally in the browser.
The extension does not collect personal data and does not transmit browsing information to external analytics services.

External requests are only made to retrieve domain metadata (RDAP) and robots.txt from the target website in order to display security information to the user.
