KTabSwitcher is a fast, keyboard-driven Firefox extension that lets you search, switch, and close tabs using Vim-style keybindings. No mouse required — just type, move, and launch.



Features

• Tab search with instant filtering
• Favicons + tab titles
• Navigate with j / k
• Jump to top/bottom with gg / G
• Close selected tab with dd
• Scroll half-page with Ctrl + d / Ctrl + u
• i to enter insert mode (search)
• Backspace ×2 on empty input to exit insert mode
• Press Enter to switch to selected tab
• Press q to close the popup

Keybindings

• j / k: Move up/down
• gg / G: Jump to top or bottom
• dd: Close the selected tab
• Ctrl + d / Ctrl + u: Half page scroll down/up
• i: Enter insert mode (type search)
• Backspace twice: Exit insert mode
• Enter: Open the selected tab
• q: Quit the popup

How to Use

1. Install the extension
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + E (or set your own shortcut in Firefox)
3. Search tabs and navigate with the keyboard

Permissions

• tabs: to access and switch tabs
• commands: to allow the keyboard shortcut
